We are providing membership a FREE LUNCH for the June 19 monthly meeting!!

PLEASE NOTE:  Seating is limited to the first 150 attendees.   Pre-registration with your member login is required for the free lunch; walk ins will be charged $20 and available only if 150 capacity has not been met.  Non-Members will be charged the standard $20 price.  In the spirit of allowing full participation for this special event, if you are unable to attend after you have preregistered, please cancel your registration on the website by June 12th. 

This meeting is the semi-annual business meeting and Chapter Elections be conducted.

The semi-annual business meeting of the PMI Heartland (NE) Chapter will be held during the June 19th lunch meeting.  You will hear a "State of the Chapter" address from our president and cast your votes for the 2014 Board of Directors.  Members that have been with the chapter for 5, 10, 15, and 20 years will be recognized.

2012 Chapter Survey Results have arrived!

Each year PMI Global sends a survey to all of our chapter members to rate their satisfaction with the chapter and this year 116 members responded.  Provided below are highligts of the results:

• Overall Satisfaction 72% - Increase for the third straight year!
• Satisfaction with Service 91%: THANK YOU!
• Likely to Renew Membership 81% - Slight decline from 2011.
• Likely to Recommend the Chapter to Others 66% - Slight decline from 2011.

The spring Region 2 meeting was held in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, hosted by the Northeast Indiana PMI Chapter.  PMI Heartland's Jackie Harris (Treasurer) and Cheryl Fitzgarrald (VP Membership) attended with several other Region 2 chapter leaders who gathered together for this conference to share knowledge and collaborate. This year, PMI Heartland “paid it forward” by sharing best practices and recommendations that led to our successful Mentoring and Social Media programs. Believe it or not, we are sharing our lessons learned with much larger chapters such as Chicagoland and Minnesota.

These people joined the chapter May-June.  Make them feel welcome and glad that they joined!

Hello and welcome to the Project Management Institute’s Heartland (NE) Chapter.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. The PMI Heartland (NE) Chapter is dedicated to advancing the practice, science and profession of project management in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. Nearly six hundred members strong, we exist to encourage and facilitate education, certification and professionalism in project management.  Provide community based services, provide networking and volunteer opportunities and recognize excellence in project management. To provide a recognized forum for the free exchange of ideas, applications, and solutions to project management issues among its members, and others interested and involved in project management.  To provide information regarding developments in project management and contribute to the quality and scope of project management.

The Heartland (NE) Chapter conducts monthly lunch meetings, a yearly dinner meeting, Advanced Education Series, PMP study groups in the Fall and Spring, and community outreach programs. The Chapter brings in national speakers for a full day Professional Development Event in the fall each year.
